How The Deedbox works
You tell us what you need and give us the details. A person reviews it, and we send you the whole document to read. Nothing goes further until you approve it. The final document is then prepared and kept in your account, and the last step - notarisation or registration - happens in person at the authority.

Choose the service
A Will, or a power of attorney for a particular purpose. If you are not sure which, the guides are written for that decision rather than to sell you one.

Give us the details
A structured set of questions, plus any documents we need from you. You can stop and come back; nothing is submitted until you say so.

Submit the case
Submitting hands it to us. From that point the case has a state you can see, and so can we.

We review it
A person reads what you have entered against what the document and the receiving authority need. If something is missing or ambiguous, the case comes back to you rather than going forward on a guess.

We send you a draft to approve
You see the whole document, not a summary of it. It is watermarked and view-only, and it is the same draft we reviewed - not a second render built from different code.

You approve it, or send it back
Nothing proceeds on your behalf until you have read it and approved it. If it is wrong, you say what to change and we send a corrected draft; the one you rejected is retired and cannot be approved afterwards.

The final document
Once approved, the final document is prepared and published to your account. You acknowledge it, and it stays there.

Notarisation and the authority
Every one of these documents is executed at a UAE registry or before a notary, so the last step happens in person, at an appointment. We schedule that with you; the authority’s own fees are paid to the authority.
What the fee covers, and what it does not
Our professional fee is for preparing the document and handling the case. It is separate from what the authority charges, and those charges are published by the authority rather than by us - Dubai Land Department lists AED 250 for a title deed, RTA lists AED 350 for a light vehicle ownership change. Notary fees, and any attestation or legalisation, are separate again.
Where a page of ours quotes an authority fee it names the authority and the figure it publishes. Where we cannot source one, we say so instead of estimating.
Two things worth being straight about
- A draft is prepared from what you enter and then reviewed by a person before it reaches you. We do not claim a finished legal document appears the moment you finish the form, because that is not what happens.
- The Deedbox is not a law firm and not a notary. Where a question turns on legal effect rather than on a published requirement, it needs a lawyer.
